Full steam ahead on the construction of Highland Walloon

May 19, 2025

We are delighted to announce that work is progressing well on the construction of Highland Walloon.

Following the appointment of Shadforth Civil, there is plenty going on as the team works hard to bring our vision to life. Site HQ has now been established, and bulk earthworks are well advanced.

As well as top-soil stripping, work is also underway on retaining walls and sewer pipes.

As part of Lennium Group’s ongoing commitment to enhancing community connectivity and long-term liveability, a major $6 million upgrade of Taylors Road East is currently underway, with completion expected by late August 2025.

Looking ahead, a further $6 million has been earmarked for the future upgrade of Taylors Road West—bringing the total investment to approximately $12 million and ensuring seamless access and support for the community’s growing needs.

So, what can future buyers expect?

This vibrant new community will consist of around 900 new homes with a larger than average lot size of close to 500 sqm, in an elevated location with mountain range views.

Planning is also taking place for a display home village featuring nearly 20 homes from a range of local and national builders.

Perched in the elevated hilltops of Walloon, in the state’s rapidly expanding western corridor, Highland Walloon is designed for modern living while embracing the natural beauty of the region.

Conveniently located near road and rail networks, schools, shopping and healthcare services, this master planned community is set to become an attractive option for couples, families, and downsizers alike.

Green space is also a priority. With thoughtfully crafted streetscapes, lush parklands, and easy access to essential amenities, Highland Walloon offers a picturesque and well- connected environment with a country town feel.

We anticipate releasing our first home and land packages very soon with Highland Walloon’s first residents set to move in some time in 2026.

If you’re a first home buyer, it’s a good idea to act quickly to maximise Government incentives.

The State Government’s $30,000 First Home Owner Grant is due to revert to $15,000 from 1 July while new stamp duty concessions which started on 1 May create a possible once-in-a-lifetime window of opportunity.
