It’s been a big few months at Highland Walloon, with major milestones bringing the community closer to welcoming its first residents.
With the Shadforth Civil crews hard at work, stormwater infrastructure, roadworks and utility connections are all taking shape. Pipe installation is underway along Taylors Road and Blackthorn Street, while on Galloway Street, work continues on the high-flow culvert, with a crane arriving soon to lift in 40 precast units. In addition, the internal road network is also advancing quickly.
Lennium Group Development Manager Ian Worthington said it was fantastic to see the progress on site.

“We’ve completed lime stabilisation, kerb installation and proof rolls across key roads including Kinross Drive, Shetland Street and Thistle Avenue,” he said.
“Utilities are also taking shape, with underground works and electrical conduits now 70 per cent installed along Kinross Drive.”
With these works well advanced, Highland Walloon is on track for the first settlements to take place in early 2026.
The construction progress has been matched by strong buyer demand, with 75 per cent of blocks in the second release selling out in one day, and more than 130 home and land packages now sold since we launched.
Ian added: “Buyers are loving the affordability of our packages, with a larger than average lot size of close to 500 square metres, in an elevated location with mountain range views.”
Located in the historic township of Walloon, just 15 minutes from Ipswich, Highland Walloon combines the charm of a country town with the convenience of nearby schools, shopping and healthcare. Green space is also a priority, with thoughtfully crafted streetscapes and lush parklands set to feature throughout the community.
As construction powers ahead amid strong buyer demand, now is the time to secure your place in this vibrant new community.
